Holly Veal is an aggressive criminal defense lawyer, in Henry County, who has been licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia since 2004. She devotes herself to the practice areas of Criminal Defense and Family Law. She has successfully gotten not guilty verdicts on serious felonies including armed robbery. Mrs. Veal attended the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law, on a full merit scholarship, where she was a staff member of the Journal of Law, Technology and Policy. Additionally while at the University of Pittsburgh, Holly Veal made the Dean’s List, worked as a Teacher Assistant and interned at the Alleghany County Public Defender’s office. Holly Veal has an extensive career in criminal law. She began her career while in law school interning for the Department of Public Welfare and the Pennsylvania State Police under the umbrella of the Governor’s Office of General Counsel. After graduating law school, she went on to become a successful Public Defender in Albany, Georgia working with the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council. She then left Albany to become a prosecutor in the jurisdictions of Houston, Clayton and Henry Counties. Holly Veal was named best new prosecutor in 2008 by the Clayton County District Attorney’s Office. She is passionate about the practice of criminal and DUI Law and has lectured in the area of “Handling Your DUI Expert.”
